Rabbits
Rabbit farming is certainly one of the most demanding and challenging types of livestock farming. That is why manufacturing rabbit feed requires special care and attention.
This naturally fearful and stressed animal has an extremely delicate digestive system. To accommodate this, raw materials must be ground as coarsely as possible to maintain maximum structure after milling, while ensuring enough fineness when passing through the pellet press to produce a solid, hard, and dust-free pellet that won’t irritate the animal’s respiratory tract, which is also highly sensitive.
Feed intended for adult breeding animals, pregnant or resting does, breeding bucks, and young rabbits kept for breeding. It is available with or without a coccidiostat and is supplied exclusively in pellet form.
Specific feed formulated for lactating does and young kits until weaning. This feed systematically contains a coccidiostat and is supplied exclusively in pellet form.
Feed designed for fattening rabbits. It can be given from weaning up to a minimum of 5 days before slaughter as it also contains a coccidiostat. It is likewise supplied exclusively in pellet form.
This feed shares the same characteristics as the maintenance feed, but comes in a different form. It is a mix of pellets, sunflower seeds, flaked peas, and whole raw, crushed, flaked, and extruded grains.
